My Babies

Boy oh boy how Josie has grown size wise and fur wise. She is 9 months old now and had her first hair cut two monts ago. I cried when I dropped her off, thank goodness I don't have kids I would be a wreck.

Here she is before we left for the groomers. Wild....

Here she is after the fur started to grow back. With her Big Sister Zoe.

Here's my teddy bear Maggie, We have been getting to spend a lot of time with my mom and dads dogs which I love. I think it is funny how Maggie makes herself fit in the small bed even though there is a big bed.

I was trying to take this adorable picture of Zoe because she grabbed her stuffed animal and was cuddling with it and Josie got in the way. (Jealous)

Nap time....

Crazy fur day... means crazy puppy day.

Josie's I didn't do it look.
So here are my girls, Gabe and I am so very luckey and Zoe is finally happy.

School is finally done for the semester and the house is as done as it can be till spring, so updates here I come...
Where do I start? We finished residing the house and placing the kicker board up right before the first snow fall. Which was good.
Here's the new color so if you come to visit, I can't call it the ugliest house on the block :)
We also did a lot of little inside projects and had a lot of help from Rich, which was great as always because we could not do it with out him but also because we got to sepnd time with Gaven. Who Josie absolutely loves. She would kiss him, he would kiss her and grab her ears. Silly dog :)
Zoe just liked that she could have both bones since Josie was busy on those weekends.
We also had some family in town from Germany. We went to the Lake Front brewery tour and a Yummy fish fry.
Here they are with the cute tour guide.( he's and MPS teacher by day and drinking tour guide buy night....Luckey!)
This should catch me up to November.

The Month of August!

What a busy month August was! We started the month with a trip to Knoblesville to my dad's condo with some friends of ours from Michigan. It was a blast we went into little Nashville Indiana and you would not believe the wineries. Some one told us that it takes over 3 days to make it through them all. Who would of thaught, I just always knew it as the boring flat lands.

Here's Cheryl in the Kitchen.

Here's her crasy hubby Greg. And this was before drinking :)

Here's Gabe trying to seduce me again! HAHA NOT!

Four days later we hit the road again for Gabe's first trip to Chattanooga TN. I spent many of my birthdays her with my Aunt and her family so it was nice to be back after 8 years. We decided to drive so that Gabe could experience the hills, vallies and mountains and the joyous ear popping.

My Cousin Jennifer got married on Look out mountain which was beautiful. Sam and Grace were in the wedding and I spent most of my night chasing Grace because she thaught that is how you dance.

We went to the Chattanooga Aquariam which is absolutely amazing. If you ever go to TN check it out. It is two buildings one with sea and lake and the other is Ocean.

We also spent one day with the kids at the childrens museum which was a blast. After the museum we went to eat at a burger joint which is where I was beyond embarrased but hey if it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen to me. I bet your wondering what happened well let me tell you. My Uncle Chris, my brother Mike, and sister in law Alia were up ahead. They had Sam. Gabe was tagging along and I was walking with Grace. We were walking across 4 lanes of traffic when the light started to change so I told Grace we better run since a bus was coming at us. In front of us was the side walk and beyond that were two older ladies getting in their car as my shorts fell down to my ankles. I had to choose between my nieces hand or my dignity and I chose my niece. I dont know what all the people on the public bus saw but I do know the two old ladies were pointing and laughing. Which is why I will never forget it.

Here's Gabe and Sam making funny faces.
Uncle Chris and Grace in the tunnels.

This was really cool Grace is standing in the middle of a giant bubble maker.

If you look closely the sea turtle is missing his back legs

They had the most beautiful butterfly exhibit.

It's A Nemo fish what can I say.

This was and is my absolute favorite picture of the kids.

Yes I am still a daddies girl.

Mike and Sam just hanging out.

I hate pictures, can you tell?

Here's my sister in law Alia who had just told us the great news that my new niece or nephew is on the way. ( so this was two months ago and we now know my nephew is coming in March. YEAH!)

Here's my Aunt Patty and her son Chris

I dont know if you can see the view behind my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bob but it was Amazing.

Here's my cousin Josh with his Girlfriend Katie. She caught the bouqet so hopefully their next:)

Here's my Grandpa with his wife Juanita

Finally here is Mr and Mrs Hooper!

A trip to Indy and Ohio

Well, I think it was in the end of May or early June that we went to Ohio to see my family. My Aunt Kathy through a baby shower for my cousin Cyndi( who at the end of July had a beautiful baby boy). It was nice to see my Aunts and my cousins. Being the second oldest is amazing to see how old I really am:)

Here is a picture of (bottom left to right) Me, my mom and my cousin Ericka, on the top row it is my cousin Cyndi, her Mom aka Aunt Joanne and Ericka's mom aka Aunt Kathy.

Here is a picture of Mom and Grandma to be.

When we got back from Ohio which was a two hour drive from Indiana we took my parents to dogs out on the boat for a nice night time ride. RUFF life ha?
It was a nice trip, Gabe stayed home with Zoe and Josie. While I was gone he taught her this.

Yes, that's right he showed her how the toilet paer role spins. And guess who's regretting it every single day. I knew I should by stock in T.P>

Time Flys!

It's hard to believe that the last time I wrote in this blog was over 3 months ago. Were do I start?

I guess with July. Gabe and I celebrated our One year anniversary. He suprised me with a Simma's cheesecake(Good MAN!) and a day of spa treatments and touring parts of Wisconsin.

We were dog and house sitting for my parents that week, while they partied in Switzerland and he surprised me at our house with setting up all the special little momentoms I saved from our wedding day. It was super sweet and a great way to celebrate our first year.

The week before that was the Fourth of July, Rich, Becky, Gaven and the pups came to stay. It was fun having 6 dogs, four adults and a munchkin in one house. :)

Gaven's first Fourth of July

Josie's blue face after she ran through Josh's yard and found the remains of blue sulfate from the smoke bomb.
The rest of the month just kept flying by. By the end of July I had set my mind and decided to go back to school!
On that note back to homework I will update you all on the month of August and the Josie stories as soon as I can.

A month with Josie

I can't believe we have hadJosie for a month already. In this last month she has bonded with Zoe and Zoe has amazingly took on a big sis, protective side. She has taught her how to play tug a war, how to cuddle and how to not get stepped on by the big dogs.
At her first vet appointment she was 4lbs 3 oz now she is 5 lbs and my holly terror

Zoe tolerates alot. Josie's new favorite thing is to grab hold of Zoe's tail when Zoe is not giving her enough attention.

Gabe has taught Josie how to take all the TP, which the first day I saw it was quit funny.

My new favorite word's are No, drop it, Leave Zoe alone and Stop eating the aunts.

All in all she is a great addition to our family, even with getting up twice a night for bathroom runs, crying till we pick her up and all the cuddling. She has also found her spot in our bed.

Maggie and Maxie are getting along well with her too, or at least tolerating her.

We have had a few visitors that came to meet Josie. Here is Aunt Julie and Jenni with the new munchkin.

Josie's first bath. She now gets one almost every day, she loves to get into everything.

I hope you all get to meet her soon.
